Established in 1972, the Department of English has been pioneering courses that have defined the discipline in India. Experienced and dedicated faculty not only lead the students towards a critical understanding of the subject but also enable them to be work-ready.
Contemporary and research-oriented courses are complemented by various field visits that connect literature with allied arts and disciplines.
