Unique Features

1. Celebrating National Handloom Day on 7^th August every year.

2. Experiential Learning: Organizing exhibition cum sale KALAKRUTI every year of products designed, developed, exhibited and marketed by students.

3. Days of importance, are celebrated in department for development of Harmony among students like Environment day, Earth Day etc.

4. Every student is assigned one advisor for discussion of professional and personal problem if any.

Best Practices

1. Green Department: (Avoid plastic, recycling of waste cloth and paper, E-waste recycling

2. Doing and promoting research work related to environmental friendly products and processes like natural fiber, natural dye etc.

3. Experiential Learning (Kalakruti Exhibition Cum Sale of the products designed, produced and sold by students)
