Ananya Prem Nath is a distinguished Research Consultant and Head of the Student Connect Program at World Commerce & Contracting. She is renowned not only for her academic and professional achievements but also for her active engagement in various global platforms. Holding dual master's degrees – an MBA from Durham University in the UK and a Master's in Economics from SNDT University in Mumbai – she has an impressive academic foundation. Ananya's passion for education extends beyond her own studies, as evidenced by her founding of the Student Connect Program, which supports students worldwide. She also plays a vital role in the Inspiring Indian Women UK chapter and serves as an Editor for the Economic Digest of the Maharashtra Economic Development Council.
In addition to her academic and editorial roles, Ananya is a successful entrepreneur and community leader. She founded Open Frame, a skill development company, and Brahma, a self-help group, showcasing her commitment to professional and personal development. Currently, she is collaborating with the MSME industry and the Research Incubation Centre. Her expertise is widely recognized, earning her accolades such as the " Bahubeej Nidhi Award " from Shri Nitin Gadkari, India 's Minister for Road Transport & Highways, and the "Youngest Editor Award " from the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Ananya works at Maharashtra Economic Development Council as a Manager in Research & Training. She has received the title of Youngest Editor of Maharashtra from Shri Suresh Prabhu in the year 2016. She has completed her Master’s in Economics from SNDT Women’s University and after that she evolved herself in the field of business strategy. She has been called by many institutes as a motivational speaker and strategy developer. Ananya wrote many research papers for MEDC, WTC, EXIM Bank and for Government of Maharashtra. Being passionate about writing, Ananya runs her own blog, named Open Frame, which is based on Brand Management and Personality Development strategies.
Indian Fashion Designer
Anita Dongre is the founder of House of Anita Dongre, an Indian fashion house.She achieved her degree in fashion design at the Premlila Vithaldas Polytechnic of SNDT Women's University and soon began supplying Indian wear to boutiques.Her designs are available under four distinct brands, which are AND (Western wear), Global Desi (ethnic wear), Anita Dongre (bridal, couture prêt, menswear), and Anita Dongre Grassroot (organic clothes). Along with couture brands, she launched her jewellery brand Anita Dongre Pink City, which also features under House of Anita Dongre.
Ms. Asmita Sharma completed her Masters from Department of Economics, SNDT Women's University, Mumbai. While studying, she participated in State and Zonal level inter-university youth festival for Folk Dance, Rangoli, Folk Orchestra and Installation. She got Silver medal in Rangoli and Bronze medal for folk dance in State level inter-university youth festival.

Chaitannya Manoj Sunke completed her masters in Economics with 78.3 per cent from S. N. D. T. University, Churchgate Campus. On the basis of her academic excellence her university nominated her for Ministry of External Affairs' and Japan Government's JENESYS 2017 program during the beginning of her M. A. Part 2 program. Japanese Government and Ministry of External Affairs, India selected only 11 Masters in Economics students across India and Chaitanya was one of them. She represented India in Japan for JENESYS 2017 program for SAARC countries. She is also getting trained in North Indian Classical Music and she has just cleared Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalay's Madhyama Purna (level 5) examination. She is currently working as Executive Producer for Colors Marathi's show 'Navara Asava Tar Asa.'

Her opinion about the Department: "The Department of History has the best faculty members who constantly strive for innovations, keeping themselves updated not only in their own subject but also with the changes in the field of education in general. The distinguishing feature of the Department is that of going beyond the realm of pure history and introducing subjects like Cultural studies, India studies and so on. This is reflected in the innovative topics introduced for the Seminars every year thus creating an environment of holistic learning for the students".
